I love a game called BabaQuan . It is a passion I can't explain to you unless you have played it . All looking on will say ( it's like ------ ) . All players come away changed forever knowing its unlike other games.
Joel You are one of my favorite people on the web I followed you with Big John when he was on the air . Babaquan is a game that Was invented by Lynn Balmforth who is dead . His Ideas and thoughts were passed onto a few before he died with an Idea of building games. After his death a group of family/friends has continued to keep this dream alive . A business plan is in the works and we continue to play the game locally in Idaho Falls The most interesting part of the game besides its challenge is its pieces and powers related to government structures of today . A glimpse of the pieces from top to bottom in power . Baba is a behind the scenes figure from who's decisions there is no appeal . He controls all under him with death oaths . Emperors as in control of money . Next is palace guards as in politicians, kings, presidents . Next Centurions as in all uniforms also includes all war,intelligence , regulation . Next is tribune as in religions false beliefs . Next is consul as in education/media by infiltration of all professions and thought .Next is plebes or the masses concerned with basic survival so that using the above are easily ruled with fear .Playing this game helps one to become aware of the forces being used to control . I do not advocate this form of government .
